Towdah Foods was founded by Kevin Adair, a culinary expert who spent years creating gourmet seasonings and sauces to enhance the flavor of foods he sold in his gourmet market and catering company. His talent in crafting the right herbs and spices to enhance the flavors of meats and vegetables brought about an entire selection of seasonings for beef, pork rubs to shrimp and crab boil. Friends, customers and family began to demand his seasonings and eventually he was encouraged to take his products to market, however he knew that was a tall order.
One day Kevin was chatting with a family member Keith Hutson about the difficulty of getting products to market. Well Keith had 6 years experience in the product development, blending, packaging, marketing and retail sales. Keith's knowledge and experience were invaluable in getting the company off the ground. In 2014 God called Keith home leaving a huge hole, but his legacy will live on in the operation of the company.
While the company is young, the talent that has come to the table is almost non-existent for such a new enterprise. Many food production and retail industry veterans with extensive sales, marketing and merchandising experience, grocery industry experts and consultants are now on board or in a consulting capacity. Quality individuals of this nature usually take years for companies to acquire and yet we are pleased to say they are now part of our family. This pool of experts has gained respect for Lakeside Seasonings and Sauces among those in the food and grocery industry.
